About

I’ve always been interested in cool pictures…

but I had never really tried taking my own beyond the occasional snapshot until 2006.

At the urging of my father, I bought a  Nikon D200 and a whole new world opened up to me. Dad has always been passionate about photography and he’s really mentored and taught me everything I know about it.  I’ve also tried to follow Joe McNally’s admonition that “if you want more interesting pictures, get in front of more interesting things”.

Along the way, I’ve discovered that really enjoy taking pictures of old, abandoned things and places. I can almost hear the whispered stories of people and things from days gone by. I’ll take pictures of just about anything though and have done a couple of commercial projects as well.

If you see anything you like, or if you’re interested in having me take some pictures for you – drop me a  line and I’ll be in touch. In the meantime, enjoy your visit. Thanks for stopping by.
